As we have been placed on Evacuation Alert - with the Evacuation ORDER within 1/2 mile from here - Homespun Haven will be unavailable for the next while. We have just spent a marathon afternoon loading out all that was feasible and it will be stored in cars, bins, trailers and a garage until it is deemed safe to return. Many thanks to family who arrived with a fleet of vehicles and helped us pack. Also thanks to members of Shuswap Spinners and Weavers who offered to help us out. You all rock!! Hopefully this will all settle down and I can carry on with plans for a big Open HOUSE day in September to "Beat the PST tax". Keep your eye on this website for announcements on this event. Sharon
