Have you dabbled in weaving - maybe just a little? Not sure how to get started with planning and making a warp for your loom? Then this one-day workshop will help you gain the confidence to do it on your own.

We will begin with an outline of the planning process - step by step and then you'll see a demo on the warp winding process (for review, if you've already taken a Beginners class). For practice you will then choose from a selection of yarns provided and will actually wind a small warp - like a mug-rugs project which you can keep. It helps do cement the process into your memory bank if you've done it hands-on. We end the day with your planning a project of your own - with all the help you might need, so you can have the planning process completed and ready to take home. The class fee of $95 included your handout sheets and the yarns you'll use to wind your mini-warp. The class starts at 10:00 andwill take much of the day so I ask that you bring along a bag lunch and I'll put on coffee/tea.
